Check out Housebets' picks for this weekend’s football matches in some of the biggest leagues across Europe.
We are back again this week to give you our predictions for this weekend’s games across Europe’s top leagues.
Last weekend, we almost made it back-to-back wins, but Newcastle’s home loss to Brentford cost us another 100% record.
However, four out of five picks is still a good one, although we hope to get a perfect score this weekend.
As usual, there are plenty of games you can place bets on at Housebets this weekend. In England, the FA Cup will take centre stage, but there will be league football in France, Italy, Spain and Germany.
Remember, you can place your bet on all these leagues at Housebets. All you need to do is log in to your account or create one if you don't already have one, deposit your preferred cryptocurrency and go to the sports section to bet on these games and our picks.
Having said that, let’s get straight into our picks of the week.

Our Pick: Chelsea Win
Hull City will be looking to recreate the magic of the FA Cup when they host Chelsea at the MKM Stadium on Friday night.
The FA Cup has witnessed a lot of giant-killing results, so could we see one tomorrow when Hull take on Liam Rosenior’s men?
It is unlikely, though, because the Tigers have not beaten Chelsea in 38 years. They have lost their last eight games against Chelsea, including domestic cup defeats in 2018 and 2020.
Nonetheless, Sergej Jakirovic's men will relish Friday night’s clash, as they have been good quite recently, even though they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Bristol City last time out.
The loss to Bristol was, however, their only defeat in their last six games (W4 D1). As for Chelsea, this is a sort of reunion for Rosenior, who was sacked by Hull City in May 2024.
Rosenior has since gone on to manage Strasbourg before taking over as Chelsea’s manager this year.
While his Blues have a perfect record in the Premier League, Rosenior’s Chelsea have not been as consistent as fans would like.
Chelsea were beaten in both legs of their EFL Cup semifinal clash against Arsenal and also dropped points against Leeds in the Premier League at home.
The 2-2 draw at home to Leeds was a disappointing one and could have a huge impact on their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season.
Nonetheless, the game against the Tigers allows them to bounce back. This is a must-win for Chelsea, as a loss could see the alarm bells ringing again.
Also, considering they are out of the EFL Cup and Premier League title race, the FA Cup is the Blues' realistic chance of winning silverware this season.
Chelsea should have no problem progressing to the fifth round, though. They are the clear favourites, with the Blues priced at 1.33 to get the win.
A win for Chelsea is non-negotiable, which is why we're backing Rosenior’s men to get the job done.
Our Pick: Bayer Leverkusen win
Champions League hopefuls Bayer Leverkusen host St. Pauli in their Bundesliga clash on Saturday afternoon.
While Leverkusen are still in this year’s Champions League, next season’s participation is far from certain, as they currently sit in sixth position.
However, a win against St. Pauli could see them go fourth, depending on the results of their rivals. This is why Saturday’s clash is a must-win for Kasper Hjulmand’s men.
They come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach, which is not different from their recent results in the league.
Die Werkself have been unable to convert draws into wins, drawing four of their last six league games.
However, they have been good in other competitions, thrashing Saturday’s opponents 3-0 in the quarterfinal of the DFB Pokal Cup last week.
St. Pauli will be looking for a better result, though, as they hope to avoid relegation. The Neighbourhood Kickers are currently 17th in the league but only one point from safety going into this weekend’s game.
But while they will be looking for a win on Saturday, it is unlikely that Alexander Blessin’s men will get it, as last weekend’s win over Stuttgart remains their only win in their last six league games.
They have also lost eight of their 11 away trips this season (W1, D2) and have lost five of their last six games against Leverkusen.
While they will definitely give it a go, it is hard to see anything other than a Leverkusen win, which you can back at 1.49.

Our Pick: Real Madrid win
It has not been a convincing season for Real Madrid, by their standards, but Los Blancos could go temporarily top of LaLiga on Saturday night.
Alvaro Arbeloa’s men could overtake Barcelona, at least till Monday night, if they beat Real Sociedad.
Madrid beat Valencia 2-0 last time to keep up the pace with Hansi Flick’s men and will be looking to back that performance with another victory.
Despite their unconvincing performances this season, Madrid have been able to grind out wins, especially at home.
Los Blancos have the third-best home record in the league this season, picking up 30 out of a possible 33 points.
They have also been in fine form recently, winning five out of their last six games in all competitions.
Madrid also have a decent record against Sociedad, having not lost to the Basque outfit since 2023.
However, Sociedad come to Bernabeu in brilliant form. They beat Elche 3-1 in their last league game and are unbeaten in their 11 games, winning eight in the process.
Pellegrino Matarazzo’s men have won four out of their last five league games and come into this clash on the back of a 1-0 win against Athletic Bilbao in the first leg of their Copa Del Rey clash.
However, despite their fine form, Sociedad have not won at Bernabeu since 2019, which is why we are backing Real Madrid at 1.36 to win.
Our Pick: Over 2.5 goals
Liverpool and Brighton turn their attention to the FA Cup this weekend after their Premier League exertions on Wednesday. While Liverpool won at Sunderland, Brighton lost to Aston Villa at Villa Park.
For Liverpool, the win against Sunderland was much needed after losing at home to Manchester City 2-1 last weekend. The win put them back in the race for Champions League qualification, but that is the only thing left for them in the league.
This is why the game against the Seagulls is important, because the FA Cup is their only realistic chance of winning a trophy, although they are still in the Champions League.
Also, considering it has been a disappointing season for Arne Slot and his team, a win on Saturday night will relieve some pressure from Slot and his team.
But it will not be easy, especially against a Brighton side in need of a win. Fabian Hürzeler’s men have just one win in their last seven games in all competitions, but that win came at Old Trafford against Manchester United.
The Seagulls won 2-1 at Old Trafford in the FA Cup third round and will be looking to repeat the same at the home of one of England’s biggest clubs. The issue for Brighton, though, is that they have won only one of their last five games against Liverpool.
However, they did win the last time they met in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Nonetheless, Liverpool are the favourites for this one, although we fancy over 2.5 goals at 1.47 because four of their last five meetings have had at least three goals.
Our Pick: Stuttgart Win
Stuttgart will hope to bounce back from their defeat to St. Pauli last weekend. The Reds suffered a 2-1 defeat, which was their first defeat in eight league games.
As a result, their Champions League qualification quest took a blow, as they dropped to fifth in the standings.
The good news for Sebastian Hoeneß’s men, however, is that they are level on points with RB Leipzig and can regain control of fourth place with a win on Saturday evening.
It is something they are good at, as they have the third-highest number of points at home in the league this season (23). Stuttgart have also kept six clean sheets in their last 11 home league games.
In addition, they face a Cologne side that they have not lost to in their last six Bundesliga matches (W4, D2).
Cologne have been inconsistent this season, even though they sit in tenth position. They lost 2-1 at home to Leipzig last weekend and are winless in their last six away games (L4, D2).
The Billy Goats also have just two wins in their last five league matches (L3), so a win at Stuttgart may be too much.
Cologne are priced at 6.20 to get the win, but a Stuttgart win at 1.46 is our prediction for this game.
