Check out Housebets' picks for some of this weekend's football games across Europe’s biggest league.
Another football weekend is here, meaning it is time for another edition of our Housebets picks of the week. This weekend is one of the biggest this season, as teams' fates could be sealed even with a few weeks left.
In Spain, the first silverware is on offer as Atletico Madrid take on Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey Final. Meanwhile in France, PSG return to league action as they take on Lyon.
In Germany, Bayern Munich could secure the league title with four games to go if they beat VFB Stuttgart on Sunday.
However, the biggest sporting event of this weekend is Manchester City’s clash against Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday evening. More on that later.

Now let’s dive into our picks for this week.

Our Pick: Inter Milan Win
Inter Milan could have had more this season, but they would still be satisfied with what they are about to achieve this year. The Nerazzurri had a disappointing Champions League campaign, but they are on the verge of winning the Serie A title.
Christian Chivu’s men host Cagliari on Friday night and could go 12 points clear at the top with just five games to go. Since they were knocked out by Bodo/Glint in the Champions League, Inter have been brilliant in the league.
Chivu’s men have won four of their last six league games (D1, L1), including the 4-3 win over Cesc Fabregas’ Como last weekend. The win against Como put them nine points clear at the top, and they will be looking to extend that when Cagliari comes to town.
Inter should have no problem getting the three points against a Cagliari side they have not lost to in the last 12 meetings. Rossoblu have lost seven of their last eight games against Inter and come into this game with just one win in their last eight games.
The win came last week against Cremonese, ending an eight-match winless streak. However, considering they have not had luck in recent visits to San Siro, this looks like another scheduled loss for Cagliari, who are priced at a massive 13.00 to get a rare win.
Our Pick: Leverkusen to win either half
Leverkusen can take a giant step towards entering the top four this weekend when they welcome Augsburg to the Bay Arena. The Factory Workers are one of the teams fighting for Champions League qualification but need to keep winning to stand a chance.
Leverkusen currently sit in fifth position, four points behind RB Leipzig in fourth place. Kasper Hjulmand’s men, however, can move closer with a win over Augsburg.
They come into this match full of confidence, having won their last two games, including an important 1-0 win over Borussia Dortmund last weekend.
That win against Dortmund away from home was much needed, as it puts them firmly in place for Champions League qualification. With all the teams around them facing each other this weekend, this match against Augsburg is Leverkusen’s perfect opportunity to gain grounds on their rivals.
However, the Factory Workers will need to improve on their recent home record, having drawn four of their last five home games. They did beat Wolfsburg 6-3 in their last league game at home and will be looking for a similar result against an Augsburg side with nothing to fight for.
Manuel Baum's men have drawn their last two games and come into this match with no wins in five. They did manage an impressive 2-2 draw against Hoffenheim last weekend, but they should have won that game.
However, considering they have lost three of their last five away games, we fancy Leverkusen to at least win either half, priced at 1.22.
Our Pick: Leeds win or over 2.5 goals
Leeds are not safe yet from relegation, but they could strengthen their position should they beat Wolves in their clash on Saturday evening. Daniel Farke’s men secured an impressive 2-1 away win against Manchester United on Monday night and will be looking to back that up on Saturday.
That win against United put them six points clear of the relegation zone, but know they still cannot afford to drop points this weekend. This weekend’s match is the perfect game to hit the 39-point mark, as they are up against a Wolves side with just three wins all season.
Wolves are all but certain to go down and have nothing to fight for, which makes them the perfect team for Leeds to face this weekend. Rob Edwards' men come into the game on the back of a 4-0 defeat against West Ham.
Still, they will come into this game looking to play for pride. They will fancy their chances, though, having been victorious in three of their last five trips to Leeds.
Nonetheless, Leeds will see this as a must-win game, which is why we are backing Farke’s men at 1.60 to win. However, if you are sceptical, you can also bet over 1.5 goals at 1.28.
Our Pick: Over 2.5 goals
Chelsea host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in a battle of teams fighting for the Champions League slots. The Blues have been on a poor run of form recently, and that has put them outside the Champions League places.
Liam Rosenior’s men currently sit in sixth place with 48 points, four behind Liverpool in fifth place. With the fifth-placed team guaranteed to qualify for the Champions League next season, Chelsea are still within touching distance.
However, they need to turn around their form. The Blues come into the game on the back of a 3-0 home defeat to Manchester City last weekend and have just one win in their last seven league matches (D2, L4).
The danger for Chelsea now is that if this form continues, they could find themselves outside of the top six, as they are only a point ahead of Brentford and Everton. As a result, they cannot afford to drop points against United.
They do have a good home record against the Red Devils, having lost just one of their last 12 league games at home against United.
United did win the reverse fixture and will be looking to do a league double over Chelsea for the first time since the 2019/2020 season. The Red Devils have turned their fortunes around since Michael Carrick took over as interim boss. They currently sit in third place with 55 points, three ahead of Liverpool.
However, they suffered a reality check on Monday night, as they suffered a 2-1 home loss to Leeds United. While the loss did not change their position, another defeat could threaten their qualification hopes.
The good news for them, though, is that they have yet to lose consecutive league games this season and will be looking to keep it that way after the weekend.
However, United’s away record at Stamford Bridge is not impressive. In addition, they have only kept one clean sheet in their last 21 away games on the road.
With United likely to concede, over 2.5 goals, which is priced at 1.55, is our pick for this game.

Our Pick: Man City win or draw
It will not be an exaggeration to say Manchester City’s clash against Arsenal is arguably the biggest Premier League game in recent years. This is a game where the story will definitely be told for many years to come.
It is a battle for Premier League supremacy as the two title challengers go to war. As of January, it looked like Mikel Arteta’s men would end the Gunners' 20-year wait for a Premier League title. However, their title aspirations were hindered by dropped points against Wolves and Brentford.
However, it was last weekend’s home defeat to Bournemouth that has threatened to undo all their hard work this season. That defeat put City back firmly in the title race, having played catch-up all season.
This City side is probably one of the worst teams that Guardiola has ever managed, yet they are firmly in the title race. The Cityzens have not fired on all cylinders this season, but they have picked up form at the perfect time, capitalising on Arsenal’s failures.
Since the turn of the year, Guardiola’s men have won six out of 12 league matches and lost just one in the process. While this is not necessarily the form of a title-winning side, those wins came in handy after Arsenal dropped points.
City beat Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge last weekend and will approach this match full of confidence. Meanwhile, Arsenal’s tepid performance against Sporting Lisbon on Wednesday failed to inspire confidence going into the clash.
But despite their poor performance against Bournemouth and Sporting, expect the Gunners to make this a cagey affair. The onus will now be on City to make Arsenal uncomfortable, which is why we are backing Guardiola’s men at 1.19 to either win or draw.
