World Cup, NBA Finals, UFC Freedom 250, Stanley Cup, French Open — bet on June's biggest events at Housebets. Plus, casino promos to keep the action going between matches.
June is here, and that should get you excited as a Housebets user because this is the peak betting month. Yes, the European football season is over, but nothing is as exciting as a summer full of many sports.
This June is different and more special than before because the biggest sporting event (The FIFA World Cup) in the world is back again this summer, in addition to some other major sporting events.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup headlines a busy month of sports in June, with the opening match set for the 11th. However, while the World Cup is the biggest event this month, we will also take a look at other major events you can bet on at Housebets in June, in addition to the casino games you can also play.
Housebets remains the home of sports betting and also the place to play your favourite casino games. To play either casino games or bet on sports this month, log in to your account or create one if you don't already have one, deposit your preferred cryptocurrency, and go to the sports section or casino section to start playing.

There is no better place to start than the biggest event of them all, the FIFA World Cup. The World Cup is back in its original summer slot after the last edition in Qatar took place during winter.
This year’s World Cup will be the first of its kind in the competition’s history, as it will be hosted by three nations (the United States of America, Canada and Mexico) and will feature an unprecedented 48 countries.
The competition kicks off on June 11 and you can place your bets on all the games, including the opening game between Mexico and South Africa.
In addition, you can also place bets on markets like outright winner, top goalscorer and group winners. Currently, Spain are the favourites to win the whole thing, but France and England are right behind them, as per the odds on Housebets.

While the FIFA World Cup is the biggest event of this month and the summer, basketball fans also have something to look forward to this month as the NBA finals is set.
This year’s NBA Finals clash between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks swept the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals to reach this stage, while the Spurs beat the defending-champion Oklahoma City Thunder in seven games to emerge as the Western Conference champions.
This clash is a rematch of the 1999 NBA finals, which the Spurs won in five. Back then, a young Tim Duncan was the star of that Spurs team, with a similar story brewing in this one, as a
22-year-old Wembanyama is the leader of the current Spurs team.
Spurs are once again the favourite to win the rematch, with Wembanyama and his teammates priced at 1.48 to succeed OKC as the NBA champions. Meanwhile, the Knicks are priced at 2.65 to end their 53-year wait for an NBA title.

Fight fans, there is also something major to look forward to this month, as UFC Freedom 250 weekend will take place on June 14th. This is not just your regular UFC event, as this one has been set up to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence.
This event will take place on the South Lawn of the White House, making it the first time a professional sporting event will be staged at the presidential residence.
There are seven events on this card, with Ilia Topuria’s Lightweight title clash against Justin Gaethje set as the main card.
Topuria, who is defending his title, is once again the favourite at 1.13, with Gaethje priced at 5.30 to cause an upset. Another major fight on the card is Alex Pereira’s heavyweight clash against Ciryl Gane.
Pereira, who is making his UFC heavyweight debut in this fight, is priced equally with Gane at 1.87 at the time of writing this piece.

Another event set for June is the French Open final. Although the tournament kicked off in May, the final of the singles event is set for the first weekend of June.
The women’s singles final is on June 6, while the men’s singles final is scheduled the following day.
Although the men’s singles event is without Carlos Alcaraz, this year’s French Open has been full of upsets. Jannik Sinner, who was the overwhelming favourite to win it all, suffered a second-round shock exit after blowing a two-set lead.
A day later, Novak Djokovic failed to take advantage of Sinner’s exit, as he also blew a two-set lead against Joao Fonseca.
However, with Djokovic and Sinner out, Alexander Zverev is now the favourite to win the title, which will be his first Grand Slam.
Meanwhile, on the women’s side, there is no shortage of upsets, either, as both Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek are out. With more surprises expected, you can bet on the final week of the French Open at Housebets.

Meanwhile, the Knights beat the Colorado Avalanche in the Western Conference final and are in their second Stanley Cup final in three years, having beaten the Florida Panthers in 2023.
