Check out Housebets expert predictions for the Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal UEFA Champions League final clash.
The 2026 Champions League final is set, with PSG facing Arsenal in this season’s showpiece at the Puskás Aréna in Hungary. This is a clash for the ages as the Parisians go for back-to-back Champions League titles, while Arsenal are seeking to win the trophy for the first time in their history.
Both teams' paths to the final could not have been more different, and we will look at their routes in this piece.
Right now, PSG are the favourites, according to the odds from Housebets, but Arsenal are given a 32% chance of ending their long wait for the biggest prize in European football.
It promises to be a clash of contrasting styles, given how both teams are expected to set up and play on that day. The game itself will still be an exciting one, though, and you can place your bets on the action at Housebets.

The 2026 UEFA Champions League final is set, as PSG battle Arsenal for the most prestigious prize in European football. The clash, which will take place at the Puskas Arena, will see both teams try to make history.
For PSG, they are trying to become the first team to win back-to-back Champions League titles since the three-peat Real Madrid team won it from 2016-2018.
Luis Enrique’s men beat Inter Milan 5-0 in last year’s showpiece and will be looking to repeat the same feat against Arsenal this year.
The Gunners have their own history to make, however, as they are seeking to win the trophy for the first time in their history. This is Arsenal’s second appearance in a Champions League final, having lost the previous one to Barcelona 2-1 in Paris 20 years ago.
However, they could become just the seventh English club to win the European Cup if they prevail against PSG on May 30.

PSG may be the favourite to win the Champions League again, but they are fortunate to be in this stage. Just like last season, they only managed to qualify for the play-off rounds on the last day of the league stage games.
However, they have turned it up since the playoff round, establishing themselves as the best team in Europe. Luis Enrique’s men defeated Monaco in the playoff round before easily dispatching Chelsea and Liverpool in the round of 16 and the quarter-final, respectively.
They thrashed Chelsea 8-2 on aggregate before beating Liverpool across two legs, 4-0 on aggregate, too.
In the semi-final, they played a classic against Bayern Munich in the first leg, beating the German champions 5-4 in Paris before playing out a 1-1 draw in Munich to reach the final.
PSG’s biggest strength is their attacking play, having scored 44 goals so far in this Champions League campaign – the most of any club.
However, the problem they face in the final is that they are up against a Gunners side that does not concede many goals.

Unlike PSG, Arsenal have actually been good all season in the Champions League. Mikel Arteta’s men finished the league stage with a 100% record, winning eight out of eight games.
Their position meant they qualified directly for the round of 16, where they faced Bayer Leverkusen. The Gunners played a 1-1 draw at the Bay Arena before beating the Factory Workers 2-0 in the return leg to progress to the quarter-final.
In the last eight, Arsenal came up against Sporting Lisbon, beating the Portuguese side 1-0 to set up a semi-final clash against Atlético Madrid.
Arteta’s men played out a 1-1 draw against the Spanish side in the first leg before seeing off Diego Simeone’s men 1-0 in the second leg to progress to the final.
While attack has been PSG’s biggest strength, defence has been where the Gunners have been at their best. Arsenal have just six goals so far this campaign and could become just the sixth team to win the Champions League without losing a match.
PSG are currently the favourite to win the game, with the French champions priced at 2.24 at the time of writing this piece. Enrique’s men are also favoured to win the trophy, as they are priced at 1.67.
The defending Champions, known for their attacking quality, are priced at 2.08 to score at least two goals in the final.
Arsenal are the underdogs going into the final. The Gunners are priced at 3.10 to win the match and 2.10 to win the final at the time of writing.
Given Arsenal are expected to take a conservative approach into the game, Arteta’s men are priced at 1.33 to score at least one goal and 2.60 to score at least two goals.
At the time of writing, PSG have only two injury worries going into the game. Achraf Hakimi remains a doubt after picking up a hamstring injury in the first leg of their clash against Bayern Munich.
Ousmane Dembélé could also miss the game after walking off in PSG’s final Ligue 1 game of the season against Paris FC.
As for Arsenal, they are sweating on the fitness of Jurrien Timber and Mikel Merino, who are both nursing long-term injuries. Ricardo Calafiori’s fitness is also in doubt, although the Italian should be fit barring any setback.
PSG’s attacking threat will always make them favourites, but Arsenal have been hard to beat this season. This match will be all about PSG’s attack vs Arsenal’s defence.
If both teams have all key players available, Enrique’s men should win. However, given that this is a final where mistakes and nerves come into play, Arsenal should not be written off.
One thing is certain, though. This will be a more competitive final than what we witnessed last year. Still, we fancy PSG to just edge out Arsenal and secure the victory.
The 2026 UEFA Champions League final is on May 30, with the final set to take place at the Puskás Arena in Hungary.
