Premier League
The 2025/2026 Premier League season concludes this month, with the title and battle to avoid the drop still to be decided. Arsenal and Manchester City are currently embroiled in a thrilling title race, with the battle likely to go down to the last kick of the season.
The Gunners currently lead the race with three points but have played a game more than the Cityzens. Arsenal finish their campaign with games against Fulham (H), West Ham (A), Burnley (H) and Crystal Palace (A).
As for City, they still have games against Everton (A), Brentford (H), Bournemouth (A), Crystal Palace (H) and Aston Villa (H).
As for the relegation battle, Wolves and Burnley have already been relegated, leaving Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United in the battle to avoid the last spot.
The battle for Europe is also one to keep an eye on, with Liverpool, Manchester United and Villa all in pole position to clinch the last three UCL spots.

French Open
The second major of the year starts on May 19, as both the men’s and women’s top tennis players descend on the red dirt of Paris. This year’s competition is expected to live up to the hype, even though Carlos Alcaraz will not be able to defend his title.
Alcaraz, who beat Jannik Sinner in a classic last year, will miss his title defence due to an arm injury. With Alcaraz out, this makes Sinner the favourite on the men’s side.
The Italian is priced at 1.47 to complete a career grand slam, with only the French Open missing from his grand slam collection. Sinner is ahead of Alexander Zverev, who is priced at 7.00 to win his first major at the French Open.
Novak Djokovic, who is seeking an unprecedented 25th grand slam title, is the third favourite at 11.00. On the women’s side, four-time champion Iga Swiatek is the slight favourite at 3.20.
Swiatek is ahead of World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, who is priced at 3.50 to win her first French Open title after losing to Coco Gauff last year.
Gauff is priced at 7.00 to successfully defend her title, ahead of Mira Andreeva, who is priced at 8.00 to win her first major.
UEFA Champions League Final
The UEFA Champions League final is also set for this month, as the two best teams in Europe battle for the biggest prize. Four teams are fighting for the two spots, with each semifinal tie still to be decided.
Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are currently the joint favourites to win the title, but only one will play in the final as they face each other in the semi-final.
The first leg ended in a thrilling 5-4 win for the French champions, but the German champions can book a spot in the final with a two-goal margin win in the return leg.
In the other semifinal, Arsenal will host Atletico Madrid in the second leg, with the tie evenly poised after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
Arsenal are the favourites to progress to the final and are priced at 3.20 to win their first UCL trophy. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid are massive underdogs to win the title, priced at 9.00.
Europa League Final
The Europa League final is also another event to look forward to in May. Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Freiburg and Braga are all fighting for a place in the final.
Villa are the favourites to win the title at 1.83, but they face English rivals Nottingham Forest in the semi-final. Forest are priced at 4.00 ahead of other semifinalists, Freiburg at 5.00 and Braga at 7.00.
