Another exciting football weekend is here again, and you can win big by placing bets on some of the games at Housebets.com, including the Premier League clash involving Arsenal and Manchester United.
This weekend promises to be explosive across Europe’s domestic league, as the 2025-2026 football season heats up.
Following the midweek Champions League and Europa League action, clubs will turn their attention to domestic action as they seek to turn their fortunes around.
There are a lot of games to look forward to this weekend, particularly in some of Europe’s top leagues. In the Premier League, the biggest game of the weekend is Arsenal’s clash against Man Utd.
Meanwhile, in Serie A, we also have the clash of two giants as Juventus hosts the defending champions Napoli.
However, these are not the only interesting matches of this weekend, as there are many more you can place bets on at Housebets.
As a result, we have carefully selected our picks from this weekend’s football fixtures across Europe’s top leagues. You can place your bets on these games and other matches at Housebets.
All you need to do is log in to your account or create one if you don't already have one, deposit your preferred cryptocurrency, and go to the sports section to bet on these picks.
With that said, let us jump straight into our picks of the week.

Our Pick: Real Madrid win or Over 2.5 goals
Fresh off their Champions League games during the week, Villarreal and Real Madrid go head-to-head at the Estadio de la Ceramica in a Saturday night LaLiga clash.
Villarreal have been punching above their weight this season, as they sit in third place, seven points behind Real Madrid, who are in second place.
A win on Saturday night will close the gap to four points, and it is not an impossible task, considering how the Yellow Submarines have been brilliant at home this season.
Marcelino García Toral’s men have lost just one of their ten league games at home this season, winning eight and drawing two. Their only loss at home in the league came against the Champions, Barcelona, a few weeks ago.
However, while Villarreal have been nearly flawless at home this season, their recent form has been poor. The Yellow Submarines lost at home to Ajax in the Champions League on Tuesday and to Real Betis in their last league game.
They have also won just two of their last four league games and have lost three of their last five matches in all competitions.
As for Real Madrid, they sit second in the league, one point behind Barcelona, but it has been a turbulent season. The performance has not been great, while there were reports of players being unhappy with Xabi Alonso, ultimately leading to his sacking.
Alvaro Arbeloa has since taken over from Alonso, but he has not been convincing either, even though the team has now won their last two games under him.
In his first game, Madrid crashed out of the Copa Del Rey after losing to Albacete. However, they beat Levante in the league last weekend before thrashing Monaco 6-1 in the Champions League.
Still, many observers are not convinced about Madrid’s ability in big games, which is why they need to give a strong display against Villarreal.
The good news for Madrid, though, is that they have a brilliant record against their hosts, having won four out of the last five matches and 31 out of the previous 54 in all competitions.
Los Blancos are the slight favourites for this game, with the away side priced at 2.00 to beat the Yellow Submarines, who are backed at 3.40 to win the game.
However, our pick for this game is over 2.5 goals. The last time a league game between Villarreal and Real Madrid had fewer than three goals was back in the 2011/2012 season, and that was even a 1-1 draw.
Our Pick: Manchester City over 1.5 goals
The second game we are picking is Manchester City’s Premier League clash against Wolves at the Etihad on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s men have been bad recently, with Tuesday’s loss to Bodo&Glimt in the Champions League adding to their woes.
The loss was so bad that City players had to refund away supporters who travelled to the game.
It’s not just in the Champions League that City have been poor; they have also struggled in other competitions. The Cityzens have won just two of their last seven games in all competitions and are on a two-game losing streak.
Before their embarrassing defeat to Bodo&Glimt, they also lost to Manchester United in the Manchester derby. That result left them seven points behind Arsenal in the race for the Premier League title.
However, the good news for City is that they have a chance to bounce back against a side they have found success against in recent years. The Cityzens have won 10 of their last 11 Premier League games against Wolves, scoring a whopping 32 goals in those games.
In addition, they face a Wolves side with just one league win this season, even though they seemed to have picked up form under Rob Edwards.
Wolves are dead certs to go down after failing to win any of their games in the first half of the campaign. However, they have been hard to beat recently, as they are unbeaten in their last four league games.
Still, it is hard to see them picking up something against City on Saturday. They have won only five of their last 23 league games against Guardiola’s men and are priced at a massive 11.00 underdog.
City are expected to win, but we think they will score at least two goals in that game, which is priced at 1.25
Atalanta’s disappointing 3-2 home defeat to Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League on Wednesday perfectly summed up their performance this season so far.
La Dea looked to be on course for a win after taking a one-goal lead, but Bilbao stormed back to score three goals, even though Nikola Krstovic’s late strike gave Atalanta a little bit of home.
Raffaele Palladino’s men have been inconsistent this season, with Wednesday’s result showing that once again. However, they do not have time to dwell on the result, as they have a Serie A clash against Parma on Sunday.
It is a match they have to win if they are to keep their hopes of finishing in the top four alive, as they are currently ten points behind Roma in fourth place.
Although they lost in the Champions League this week, La Dea are on a four-game unbeaten run in Serie A (W3, D1), and have lost just one of their last six league games.
They will feel confident in their chances against a Parma side that currently sits 13th in the league. The Crusaders played out a goalless draw against Genoa last time out, but have just two wins in their last six matches (1W, 3D).
Although they will feel confident in their chances as they are unbeaten in their last two games against La Dea, Parma are the underdogs going into this match.
Carlos Cuesta’s men are priced at 7.40 to get a rare away win, while Atalanta are priced at 1.50 for a routine win.
We are backing Atalanta to return to winning ways as they have won seven out of their last nine matches against Parma.

A big Ligue 1 clash awaits on Saturday night as Olympique Marseille welcome RC Lens to Stade Velodrome.
Marseille are a difficult side to predict due to their inconsistent performances. The French giants come into this match on the back of a brutal 3-0 home defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
But before then, they had thrashed Angers 5-2 last Saturday to pick up their first league win of the new year.
Saturday’s game against Lens is a huge one for Roberto De Zerbi’s men, as they are currently eight points behind Pierre Sage’s men, who are the leaders.
Lens have been the surprise package of the season, as they sit one point ahead of champions Paris Saint-Germain in the league.
Les Sang et Or beat Auxerre last time out to keep their spot at the top of the table, and are looking to do a double over their hosts for the first time since the 2022-2023 season.
One of Lens’ biggest strengths this season has been their defence. They have kept clean sheets in their last three league games and have won eight league matches by a single goal this season.
This is a difficult match to call, as they have split the last four meetings evenly. However, we feel both teams will go for it, which is why we are backing over 2.5 goals at 1.61.
Our Pick: Bayer Leverkusen Win
It has been a terrible week for Bayer Leverkusen. They lost 1-0 to Hoffenheim in the league last weekend before losing at home to Olympiacos in the Champions League.
The loss to the Greek champions was a huge blow to their hopes of qualifying for the knockout round, but they can keep next season’s hopes alive when they welcome Werder Bremen to the Bay Arena.
Leverkusen are only four points behind fourth place in this season’s Bundesliga, so they need to win on Saturday to stay in touch.
Their recent form does not suggest that they can win, as they have just two wins in their last five league games, having lost the last three.
The good news for them, though, is that they face a Werder Bremen side with no wins in their last five league matches (3D, 2L).
The River Islanders have secured just 18 points from 17 matches this season and have only won four league games all season.
However, they have a pretty good record against Leverkusen in recent years, as they are unbeaten in their last three games.
Still, we fancy Leverkusen to win this one, and you can back them at 1.61 to do just that.
