Check out Housebets' predictions for this weekend’s football games across Europe’s biggest leagues.
Another weekend of football is here, and we are back again with our picks of the week. We are now at the critical stage of the 2025/2026 campaign, as there are just three weeks left before the season ends.
However, there is still a lot to play for, especially for teams fighting for the title, European qualification and relegation battle. In England, the title race will likely go down to the final day as both Arsenal and Manchester City are currently separated by four points, with the Cityzens having a game advantage.
Meanwhile, in other big leagues, the title race is over but the race for Europe is still very much alive, especially in Italy, Germany and France.
All the teams involved will be in action this week, with the games available to bet on at Housebets.

With that said, here are our picks for this weekend.

Our Pick: Liverpool to win either half or Over 2.5 goals
Liverpool host Chelsea in a Premier League match that does not really matter in the grand scheme of things, but it is still a big match, as they are modern-day rivals.
Both teams used to fight for titles, but they have been disappointing this season, with Liverpool in fourth and Chelsea in ninth.
While this is not a top-of-the-table clash, it is still an important game for both teams’ prospects next season. Liverpool need a win to all but secure Champions League qualification. In contrast, Chelsea need a win to keep their vanishing hopes of securing at least Europa League football alive.
Liverpool could have secured Champions League qualification last weekend, but they lost 3-2 to Manchester United, who ironically clinched their spot with the win.
It was a shambolic performance from Arne Slot’s men, even though the scoreline suggests that the game was a close encounter. They went two goals down inside the first 20 minutes of the match and only found a way back thanks to United’s errors at the back.
However, Kobbie Mainoo ensured Man Utd got the win, which was fully deserved. The loss put Slot under more pressure, who appeared to have given himself some breathing space after Liverpool went on a three-match winning run.
The Dutch manager is likely to be in the job next season, but things could change if the Reds put up a bad performance in the final three games of the season. The good news for Liverpool, though, is that it is unlikely for them to lose this weekend as they face a Chelsea side that cannot wait for the season to end.
Although they are in the FA Cup final, this has been a disastrous season for Chelsea, which has cost two managers their jobs – Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior.
Rosenior, who replaced Maresca, was sacked following the Blues' 3-0 loss to Brighton and was replaced by Calum McFarlane.
However, while McFarlane led the team to a 1-0 win in his first match, he was brought down to earth in his second game, as Chelsea suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Nottingham Forest on Monday.
That defeat to Forest was Chelsea's sixth consecutive loss in the Premier League, and they are now in danger of losing seven successive league games for just the second time ever, after first suffering such a sequence in 1952.
They will hope to avoid that at Anfield, but they have not won a league game at Anfield since 2021 and have lost their last two league games there.
It is hard to see a Chelsea win here, but they can make it competitive. Also, with both teams under pressure to perform, this should have a lot of goals, which is why we are backing Liverpool to win either half, priced at 1.45 or over 2.5 goals, priced at 1.42.
Our Pick: Lens Win
Lens will be looking to extend the Ligue 1 title race for at least another weekend when they welcome Nantes to Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Friday night.
Les Sang et Or have pushed Paris Saint-Germain all the way this season but are currently six points behind the champions with three games to go.
Pierre Sage’s men should have been in a better position, but their failure to pick up maximum points in three of their last four games all but handed PSG the title.
Still, they will aim to keep their faint hopes alive by beating Nantes. They come into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw against Nice, but they face a Nantes side with just one win in their last six league games (D3, L2).
In addition, Les Canaries are also battling relegation, as they sit in 17th place, five points behind Auxerre in 16th place. However, Vahid Halilhodzic’s men beat Olympique Marseille 3-0 in their last league game to stay alive.
The problem for them, though, is that they have lost five of their last six league games at Lens, which is why we are backing the home side at 1.42 to get the win.
Our Pick: Over 2.5 goals
VFB Stuttgart’s clash against Bayer Leverkusen at MHP Arena is the biggest in Germany this weekend, as the winner of this tie could take control of their destiny in the race to secure the final Champions League qualification spot.
Both teams are currently tied on 58 points, with Leverkusen ahead by a +3 goal difference. This is a match where a draw helps no one’s cause, as Hoffenheim are lurking behind.
Stuttgart come into this match following a thrilling 3-3 draw against Hoffenheim, a result that benefited neither team. While the result increased both teams' point tally to 58, it allowed Leverkusen to capitalise.
The Factory Workers thrashed RB Leipzig 4-1 in their last league game to overtake Stuttgart and Hoffenheim on goal difference. With their destiny now in their hands, Kasper Hjulmand's team can now pull three points clear of Die Roten with a win on Saturday, although Hoffenheim will be right on their tails should they win their game against Werder Bremen.
Stuttgart have only themselves to blame for making things difficult after winning just one of their last four league games (D2, L1). However, Sebastian Hoeness’ men are also capable of turning things up when they want to, having scored 10 goals in their last four games.
With both teams known for their attacking intent, it is only wise to go for at least over 2.5 goals, which is priced at 1.34.
Our Pick: Leipzig Win
Leipzig suffered a 4-1 defeat against Champions League qualification rivals Leverkusen last weekend but can book their spot with a win over St. Pauli on Saturday.
While that 4-1 defeat could have been damaging, it did not really matter as Die Roten are currently four points ahead of the chasing pack.
However, Ole Werner’s men need to handle their business on Saturday. That should not be a problem, as they face a St. Pauli side without a win since the beginning of March (D3, L5).
The Neighbourhood Kickers are currently in the relegation zone but are level on points with Wolfsburg in the relegation playoff spot.
Considering they play the Wolves in an all-or-nothing final day clash, a loss to Leipzig will not seal Alexander Blessin’s men’s fate.
A defeat looks most likely for the away side, so we are backing Leipzig at 1.31 to win.

Our Pick: Juventus win
Juventus missed the chance to go level on points with AC Milan in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Milan had dropped points after losing to Sassuolo, leaving Juventus with a chance to go level in third place. However, Luciano Spaletti’s men failed to capitalise after playing a 1-1 draw against a Hellas Verona side already relegated.
It was a huge blow to their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League, but they still control their fate. The Old Lady cannot afford to drop any more points, though, which is why a win against Lecce this weekend is non-negotiable.
With Roma only a point behind, Spalletti’s men need to likely pick maximum points from their last three games to seal qualification. They are good for it, though, as Juventus have garnered the second-highest number of points (19) in the last nine Serie A games.
They are also unbeaten in their last ten games in all competitions and have lost just one of their last 12 matches on their trips to Lecce.
Lecce are not quite safe from relegation yet, as they are only four points ahead of Cremonese with three games left. The Giallorossi will arrive this match full of confidence after picking up a 2-1 win over Pisa last weekend, having picked up just two points from their previous six matches.
Eusebio Di Francesco’s men also picked up an impressive point when they travelled to Turin to take on the Old Lady. This indeed feels like a game Lecce can win, but considering what is at stake for Juve, we are tempted to go for an away win, priced at 1.47.
