Check out Housebets football picks for this weekend’s matches in some of Europe’s biggest leagues.
In the words of one of the greatest philosophers of our time, ladies and gentlemen, the Housebets picks of the week are here. After being forced to pick international football games last weekend due to the break, it is refreshing to see club football back this weekend.
We have a couple of exciting picks this weekend, thanks to the games lined up in some of Europe’s biggest leagues.
In England, Manchester City host Liverpool in the biggest game of the weekend. Meanwhile, in Spain, Barcelona travel to Atletico Madrid in what is the first of three matches between them over the next 12 days.
In Serie A, the country is still mourning Italy’s failure to qualify for the World Cup for the third time in a row, but club football returns, with Inter Milan hosting Roma in the biggest game of the week.
Remember, you can bet on all these games at Housebets. To place your bets, log in to your account or create one if you don't already have one, deposit your preferred cryptocurrency, and go to the sports section to bet on these games and our picks.
With that said, let us get down to our picks for this week.

Our Pick: PSG win or over 2.5
The next two weeks could make or mar PSG’s season as they challenge for the league title and the Champions League. Luis Enrique’s men return to action as they host Toulouse before hosting Liverpool in the first leg of their quarter-final clash.
While the Liverpool clash is the bigger one on paper, they cannot afford to overlook the game against Toulouse, considering they are only one point ahead of Lens.
The Champions were supposed to meet Lens in a top-of-the-table clash next week, but to enable Enrique’s men to prepare for the second leg of their UCL clash against Liverpool, the clash has now been postponed.
This is why the Toulouse game is important, as a win will ensure that they remain league leaders till they play again.
The good news for PSG is that this should not be a problem, as they are in fine form, having won their last three games in all competitions by an aggregate score of 12-2.
However, on the flip side, they face a Toulouse side that has won its last two games. Carles Martinez’s men currently sit in ninth position, nine points behind Monaco in the final spot for Europe.
Le Tefece have also won their last two matches on the road, but they have a bad record against the Champions. They have lost on six of their last seven trips to Parc des Princes, although they did win there in 2004.
Although they meet a PSG side that will have one eye on the Liverpool encounter, we still expect Martinez’s men to lose, which is why we are backing Enrique’s side at 1.29 to get all three points.
In addition, we also expect this match to have goals, which is why we also think over 2.5 goals at 1.55 could be another option.

Our Pick: Over 2.5 goals or Liverpool to score
The FA Cup quarter-finals take centre stage in England this weekend, with Manchester City hosting Liverpool in the biggest game of the round. Although City are still in a title race, the FA Cup gives them an opportunity to add to their EFL Cup.
Pep Guardiola’s men beat Arsenal at Wembley last month to win the first silverware of the season and will be looking to make it back-to-back trips with a win over Liverpool.
Although they won the EFL Cup, Pep Guardiola’s men have had a below-par campaign and will be eager to pick up the pieces of what is left, starting with the clash against Liverpool.
While they can still win the Premier League, the game against Liverpool is just as important as the rest of their league games. The good news for them is that Guardiola’s men have no reason to fear the Reds.
Aside from the fact that Liverpool have also been below average, the Cityzens also have the Reds' number this season, having beaten them home and away already.
This match is the beginning of Mohamed Salah’s farewell tour after the Egyptian announced he would be leaving the club next season. Salah played a key role in Liverpool’s Premier League last season, but Arne Slot’s men have been a shadow of themselves this year.
They are mathematically out of the title race, leaving them with just the FA Cup and Champions League to fight for. With a huge clash against PSG coming up next week, it remains to be seen if Slot will prioritise that over the City game.
A win over City gives them a higher chance of winning a trophy, though, considering the teams left in the Champions League. Liverpool have lost twice to City this season, but they have not lost three consecutive games to the side since 1974.
This is a game that always delivers goals, which is why we are backing over 2.5 goals. Over 2.5 goals is priced at 1.55, while you can also back Liverpool to score, priced at 1.33.
Our Pick: Leverkusen to win either half
Bayer Leverkusen host Wolfsburg this weekend and will hope to get back on track in their quest to qualify for the Champions League next season.
Leverkusen are currently four points behind RB Leipzig in fourth place, but could have been two points behind had they beaten bottom side Heidenheim before the international break.
Kasper Hjulmand’s men gave up the lead twice as they played out a 3-3 draw in their last match before the international break.
Having taken a two-goal lead, Leverkusen were pegged back to 2-2 before regaining the lead, only to give it up again. The result led to two massive points dropped for Leverkusen, but they will be looking to bounce back again.
With just seven games left this season, the Factory team cannot afford to drop further points in the race for UCL qualification. They do have a winnable game against Wolfsburg, though.
The Wolves are winless since January (D3, L7) and are three points from safety. They suffered a 1-0 home defeat against Werder Bremen last week but have been tough to beat at BayArena in recent games.
Wolfsburg have lost just two of their last nine games at Leverkusen (D3, W4). Still, we fancy Leverkusen to win at least one half, which is priced at 1.22.
Our Pick: Real Madrid to win either half
Relegation-threatened Real Mallorca host Real Madrid in a LaLiga clash that is important to both teams. Mallorca finished tenth last season but are currently languishing in the relegation zone with 28 points, one point behind Elche.
Martin Demichelis' men come into this game on the back of a 2-1 loss to Elche and cannot afford to drop points, given their current situation.
They have a reason to be confident, though, as the Pirates have picked up 22 points at home this season, losing just four games. However, the bad news for them is that they have won just one of their last 11 games against Real Madrid.
If Mallorca need to win to stay alive in the race to avoid relegation, then Madrid also need to win to keep their title hopes alive. Alvaro Arbeloa’s men come into this match on the back of a 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid and will need to keep up the performance against Mallorca.
Los Blancos are four points behind Barcelona with just nine games left, including this weekend's round of games. Failure to win here could see them drop six or seven points behind Barcelona in the race.
While they also have a Champions League quarter-final clash against Bayern Munich to navigate, Arbeloa’s men cannot afford to drop points.
They have everything going for them, though, as they have the best away record in the division this season, picking up 30 points from 14 matches, recording nine wins in the process.
Los Blancos have also won their last three games against Mallorca, and we expect that to be the case again on Saturday.
However, to play it safe, we are backing them to win at least one half, priced at 1.30.

Our Pick: Over 2.5 goals
Atletico Madrid face Barcelona in the first of the three meetings between the two sides over the next 12 days. Diego Simeone’s men host the Catalan giants on Saturday night before facing them over two legs in the Champions League quarter-final.
While the two Champions League games are important, this league game is equally vital. For Atletico, a win will give them confidence going into the Champions League games.
The Rojiblancos have already beaten Barcelona this season, thrashing them 4-0 in the semifinal of the Copa del Rey. However, they almost blew that lead as Barcelona secured a 3-0 win in the second leg.
Simeone’s men also suffered a 3-1 loss to Barcelona in the reverse fixture, which is why they need to put out a statement on Saturday.
If they are to do it, though, they will need to put up a better performance than the one they delivered in their 3-2 loss to Real Madrid.
For Barcelona, this match is important to them for a different reason. Hansi Flick’s men are currently four points ahead of Los Blancos and will want to keep it that way this weekend.
A win on Saturday will maintain Barcelona’s four-point lead, which is doable, considering their record against Atletico.
The Catalan giants have not lost a league game at Atletico since 2021 and are on an eight-match unbeaten run. However, all four league defeats that Barcelona have suffered have come away from home.
Goals are guaranteed in Barcelona games, though, which is why we are backing over 2.5 goals, priced at 1.47
