Check out Housebets' predictions for some of the biggest games in Europe’s top leagues this weekend.
It’s the weekend, and we absolutely love it because the stakes have never been higher as the European football season reaches its climax this month.
After a long season, the 2025/2026 European football campaign ends this month, with the UEFA Champions League final bringing the curtains down on May 30.
However, before the season ends, there is still a lot to play for, starting with this weekend’s fixtures. With everything still at stake in major European leagues, the football weekends this month will be must-see TV.
There are some intriguing clashes set for this weekend, and in our customary Housebets fashion, we will be giving you our predictions for some of these games.
Remember, Housebets remains the home of football betting, and you can bet on all football games, including the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

Having said that, check out our picks below.

Our Pick: Leeds Win
In another season, this could be an important match for both teams, but it is not. However, this is a vital game for Leeds, as a win will all but guarantee their safety in the Premier League at least for another season.
Leeds have already reached the 40-point magic mark but will still want to pull further away from Nottingham Forest, West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur with four games left in the campaign.
Ideally, 40 points should be enough for Leeds to survive, but stranger things have happened before, which is why they need to win.
The good news for Leeds is that they are playing against a Burnley side that will be playing Championship football next season. The Clarets, alongside Wolves, have already been relegated and will be playing for nothing but pride at Elland Road on Friday night.
Burnley have one win in their last 25 league games and will have a new manager – Michael Jackson – in the dugout after Scott Parker left his role.
However, nine of their last 13 points have been on away grounds, so this could get tricky for Leeds.
Still, Daniel Farke’s men come into this game without a loss in their last five matches and should easily make it six, which is why we are backing them at 1.38 to get the win.

Our Pick: Arsenal Win
Arsenal are three points clear at the top of the table, yet they cannot afford to drop points in their Premier League clash against Fulham because that will be catastrophic to their title hopes.
The Gunners are currently battling Manchester City for the Premier League title and have to likely win all remaining games to win the title.
Even that may not be enough, as Man City could win the title with a better goal difference, which is why a win against Fulham is non-negotiable for Mikel Arteta’s men.
They will go six points clear of Pep Guardiola’s men with a win, although the Cityzens will have two games in hand. While a win is important, Arsenal also have to be convincing in their performance.
Arteta’s come into the game on the back of a 1-0 win over Newcastle in their last league game and a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final clash.
However, these scorelines do not help Arsenal's cause, considering goal difference could play a major role in deciding the champions.
Fulham seem like the perfect opponent for Arsenal this time, but the Cottagers will definitely not lie down flat, as they are not far from European qualification spots.
Marco Silva’s men come into this game following a 1-0 win over Aston Villa, snapping their three-game winless streak. With just two points separating them and Brighton in sixth place, they will be eager to build on the win from last weekend.
However, the problem for Fulham is that they have not won a Premier League game at Arsenal in 32 attempts. With that in mind and Arsenal also knowing what is at stake, everything points to a Gunners win, which is priced at 1.43.

Our Pick: Barcelona to win either half
Osasuna picked up a vital win against Sevilla last weekend and will be looking to replicate the same feat when Hansi Flick’s Barcelona come to town.
Los Rojillos appeared to be heading for a defeat, but goals from Raul Garcia and Alejandro Catena in the final ten minutes turned a loss into a win after Neal Maupay had put Sevilla ahead.
That win effectively secured their status and pushed them further into the European qualifying spots. Alessio Lisci’s men are currently two points behind Getafe in sixth position but can own that position outright this weekend should they beat Barca and other results go their way.
The problem, though, is that they have been far from consistent this year, having managed just two wins from their last eight league games (D3, L3).
It does not look like they will secure back-to-back wins this weekend, as they face a Barcelona side on a mission. Barca are on the verge of successfully defending their title, knowing a win here and a Real Madrid draw or defeat will crown them champions.
With El Clásico looming next weekend, Flick’s men will be eager to lock up a win here, knowing there is a huge possibility Los Blancos could give them a guard of honour should they fail to beat Espanyol on Sunday.
Barca secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Getafe last weekend and have won their last nine league games. However, all four of their defeats in the league have been on the road and they face an Osasuna side unbeaten in their last ten league games at home (W6, D4).
This looks like a tricky game on paper for Barcelona, but we still fancy the Catalan giants to win at least a half, priced at 1.40.
Our Pick: Monaco to win
Metz are dead and gone, even though it is not official yet. The Lorraine side sit last on the table and are nine points behind Auxerre in 16th place.
However, despite the impending relegation, Metz will be looking to claim a first win at home in all competitions this year. They have only picked up two points at home this year but will be looking for an upset against Monaco.
The issue, however, is that this is also a vital game for Les Monegasques, as they need a win to keep up their hopes of qualifying for Europe alive.
Monaco are six points off the final Champions League spot, but they are only two behind Olympique Marseille in the UEFA Europa Conference League spot.
Monaco have failed to win their last two away games in the league but know they have to win on Saturday to stay in contention for Europe.
Their chances are good, though, as they have beaten Metz in their last eight games, which is why we are backing them at 1.41 to make it nine straight wins.
Our Pick: Atalanta Win
Atalanta will be hoping to retain their slim hopes of qualifying for Europe when they welcome Genoa on Saturday.
La Dea are unlikely to qualify for Europe next season, as they are currently seven points behind Roma in sixth place. However, they can keep the race alive at least for another week if they beat Genoa.
Raffaele Palladino’s men will need to improve on their recent performances, though, having failed to win their last three league games. They come into this match with no wins in their last three league games, including a 3-2 loss to Cagliari last weekend.
They also missed a place in the Coppa Italia final after losing to Lazio on penalties. However, they face a Genoa side with nothing to fight for. The Grifone are almost safe from the drop and will go into the clash fully relaxed.
However, they come into this game having won two of their last three league games, including a 2-1 win at Pisa two weeks ago. Daniele De Rossi’s men did lose to Como last weekend, though, and have just one victory from their last 18 league games against Atalanta.
With history not on their side, this looks like a predictable Atalanta win, priced at 1.56.
