Housebets is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) under licence number OGL/2024/431/0231. This page explains which services on the platform are covered by that licence, and which are not.
For these services, you benefit from the player protections described in these Terms including our complaints process, the right to escalate to the CGA, and the jurisdiction of the courts of Curaçao.
The following services are available on or alongside the Housebets platform but are not covered by CGA licence OGL/2024/431/0231. The CGA has no regulatory oversight over these services and its player protection framework does not apply to them.
Fiat deposits and withdrawals are processed by third-party licensed payment service providers including Bridge Technologies (Cyprus) Limited (HE 440867) and other agents. These entities operate under their own regulatory frameworks, separate from the CGA. Disputes about fiat payments should be raised directly with the relevant payment provider.
The $HBTS token, airdrops, on-chain reward mechanics, and token economics are not regulated gaming products. The $HBTS token may constitute a financial instrument in your jurisdiction. Token values are volatile and can fall to zero. Participation is entirely at your own risk. Full token terms at housebets.com/token.
The Housebets affiliate and referral revenue share programme is a commercial arrangement. The CGA has no oversight over affiliate activities and its dispute resolution process does not apply. See the Affiliate Terms for full details.
Any DeFi or token staking features offered in connection with the $HBTS token are financial services outside the scope of the CGA gaming licence. Their availability and legality may vary by jurisdiction.
Games supplied by third-party studios (e.g. Evolution Gaming, Pragmatic Play, NetEnt) are governed by those providers' own licences from other regulatory authorities such as the Malta Gaming Authority. Their RNG certification and payout verification operate under those separate licences. Housebets acts as the licensed operator offering access to these games.
Where the platform redirects you to a service operated by a non-CGA entity, you will be explicitly informed before the redirection. Proceeding constitutes your acknowledgement that you are leaving the CGA-regulated environment.
The CGA complaint escalation process at gaming.curacao.com applies only to the regulated services listed above. For disputes about unregulated services, contact [email protected] — we will assist where possible, but cannot guarantee resolution under the CGA framework for these matters.
